Sonographer

About the role

Lake Imaging, a radiology provider founded in 2002 and now operating more than 19 clinics across central and western Victoria, is seeking an experienced Sonographer for its outer-west Melbourne clinics. The team works in a collaborative, committed culture focused on the best outcomes for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including general, breast, MSK, vascular and obstetrics (1st and 2nd trimester pregnancy), and occasionally paediatric scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other professionals.

Required profile

• Qualification in Medical Ultrasound accredited by the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• Ideally 2+ years of post-graduate experience; new graduates are welcome to enquire.
• Willingness to take part in further education and continued professional development.
• All-round competency in ultrasound examinations such as breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular.

Required skills

• Experience with Siemens and GE ultrasound equipment is ideal.
