About the role
The Cloud & AI Infrastructure team at Cisco helps organisations unlock AI value through modern infrastructure, networking, data‑centre and cloud technologies. As a Solutions Engineer you will work with customers, partners and Cisco sales teams to solve complex business and technical challenges, driving AI adoption and measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with customers to understand business priorities and translate them into technical AI, cloud and networking solutions.
- Design and demonstrate scalable, secure AI and infrastructure architectures.
- Lead workshops, discovery sessions, architecture reviews and technical evaluations.
- Collaborate with sales, partners, specialists and product engineering to ensure successful customer outcomes.
- Showcase Cisco’s AI strategy and technology portfolio through compelling demos and business‑focused conversations.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies, industry trends and competitive developments.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, pre‑sales, solution architecture or related customer‑facing technical roles.
- Proven ability to develop and present technology solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and modern AI application architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure including GPU platforms, high‑performance networking, storage and cloud services.
- Excellent presentation, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
