Solution Architect

About the role

As a Solution Architect at Octave, you will translate complex customer challenges into practical, scalable solutions that align with business goals. You will lead solution design from concept through delivery, working closely with customers, delivery teams and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures that address customer needs, considering security, performance, scalability, integration and user experience.
• Create solution architecture artefacts using Octave’s standards and frameworks and present designs, demonstrations and technical recommendations to customers.
• Support presales activities, including software demonstrations, bid estimates and opportunity assessments.
• Partner with development teams to align designs with product capabilities and ensure consistent application of architectural principles.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Proven experience in solution architecture, enterprise software design and presales engagements.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and experience with cloud‑based solutions.
• Understanding of Agile, SAFe and both Waterfall delivery methodologies.
