Solicitor - Commercial, Property and Wills & Estates

About the role

A boutique law firm based in Brisbane is hiring a solicitor for a permanent, full-time position in Darra, QLD. The role manages a diverse portfolio across Commercial Law, Property Law and Wills & Estates, with hands-on file management and direct client contact. It sits within a growing team working alongside senior practitioners and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review commercial contracts, business sale and purchase agreements and commercial and retail leases
• Advise on corporate structuring and governance
• Prepare estate planning suites, from standard Wills and EPAs to complex testamentary trusts
• Handle probate and letters of administration, and assist with estate dispute and litigation matters
• Manage end-to-end client files and advise SMEs, families and high-net-worth individuals

Required profile

• 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience with practical exposure to commercial, property law and/or estate planning
• Admission as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland with a current practising certificate
• Proactive, resilient attitude and a willingness to learn from senior mentors

Required skills

• Strong legal research, drafting and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and empathy for guiding clients through sensitive estate matters

• Salary of $95,000 to $120,000 per year plus superannuation, negotiable based on experience
