Solar Service Technician

About the role

Energy Solution Centre is growing its dedicated solar and battery service division and is looking for an experienced, qualified electrician to join as a Solar Service Technician. The role focuses on service, diagnostics, upgrades and customer support rather than large installations, covering the Sunshine Coast and North Brisbane areas. It suits someone who enjoys troubleshooting, fault finding and working directly with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Complete solar and battery service call-outs, troubleshooting and diagnosing faults
• Complete switchboard upgrades and modifications, and small solar and battery system upgrades
• Install small system additions and modifications
• Conduct solar safety and compliance assessments, system health checks and new installation site assessments for the Sales Team
• Take photos, measurements and technical information, and communicate technical issues simply to customers
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with significant hands-on experience in solar, batteries and switchboards
• Customer-focused, confident speaking to homeowners, able to work independently and safely at heights
• Physically fit for solar inspections, highly organised and reliable
• Right to work in Australia and a current Australian driver's licence

What we offer

• Salary package of $100,000 - $120,000 per year
