Software Integration & Verification Engineer (IVL)

About the role

Thales is looking for a talented Software Integration & Verification Engineer to join its agile, international team in Bangalore. You will work on distributed, mission‑critical software platforms, shaping integration and test strategies with a focus on automation, robustness and performance. The role may also include Scrum Master responsibilities to support agile ceremonies.

Key responsibilities

• Help define, implement and evolve the software integration and test strategy, emphasizing performance, robustness, scalability and endurance.
• Specify, develop and enhance test environments, tools, simulators, stubs and realistic data sets.
• Design, implement and maintain automated test cases and integrate them into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with full‑stack developers and other stakeholders to maximise test coverage, promote test‑driven development and investigate anomalies.
• Author, sequence, execute and document manual and exploratory test plans.
• Potentially act as Scrum Master for the squad, facilitating agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.
