Software Engineer

About the role

Join the ACIL Tribe at carsales to design, build and support high‑availability, low‑latency platforms for dealership customers. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in agile planning, development and support of backend and frontend services.
• Write clean, testable code, conduct code reviews and automate build and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, design and operations to ensure high performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong experience in backend development within the .NET ecosystem.
• Proven ability to design and implement event‑driven, distributed systems (CQRS, Event Sourcing, message queues).
• Passion for clean code, continuous improvement and scalable architecture.

Required skills

• C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC
• Microservices architecture
• Angular or React front‑end development
• AWS cloud services
• Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and Test‑Driven Development (TDD)
• CI/CD, containers and Infrastructure as Code
• Monitoring, logging and observability tools
• Performance tuning at application and database levels
