Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help build Lorikeet’s AI‑first SaaS platform that automates high‑volume customer support for fintech, healthtech and marketplace clients. You will work closely with product, design and support teams to deliver end‑to‑end features that leverage large‑language‑model agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship full‑stack features using our TypeScript, React/Remix, Prisma and NestJS stack.
• Integrate and fine‑tune AI agents, including prompt engineering, iteration and testing.
• Collaborate with users to understand support workflows and translate them into product requirements.
• Maintain code quality through automated tests, linters and continuous feedback loops.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the engineering culture.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to work on ambiguous, cutting‑edge AI challenges.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, engineering‑led environment.
• Team‑player with low ego, high trust and a focus on user obsession.
• Open to flexible working arrangements while primarily collaborating onsite in Surry Hills.
