Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Ofload’s engineering team, building the core logistics platform that powers a fast‑growing FreightTech scale‑up. You will work in small cross‑functional squads, collaborating with product managers and designers to deliver high‑impact features that improve freight efficiency across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain services for AI‑powered data ingestion, pricing and rate‑card algorithms, and bulk‑upload workflows.
• Build and optimise systems that directly affect margin, cash‑flow and operational efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous‑delivery pipelines within a Kubernetes‑based AWS environment.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Strong desire to learn and solve complex problems in a fast‑moving product environment.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative squad.
• Passion for improving logistics and sustainability through technology.
