Software Engineer in Test

About the role

Netwealth is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to help embed quality into every stage of software delivery. You will work within a cross‑functional team to design, build and maintain automated testing solutions that accelerate releases and improve confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automated testing frameworks and solutions that support shift‑left testing.
• Increase test coverage across API, integration and UI layers.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast feedback.
• Partner with software engineers, product owners and stakeholders to identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Conduct exploratory testing, release verification and continuous‑improvement activities.
• Help create faster feedback loops and more reliable releases.

Required profile

• Strong development experience in C#.NET, TypeScript, JavaScript or SQL Server.
• Proven expertise building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Experience with API, integration and UI automation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Passion for automation, quality and continuous improvement.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to challenge the status‑quo.
