Software Engineer – Full-Stack Development (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

Blitzit is seeking a Software Engineer to join its development team and help scale its proprietary platform that supports NDIS participants across Australia. The role involves building new features, maintaining back-end services and APIs, and improving system performance in a hybrid/remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features for web applications.
• Build and maintain back-end services and APIs.
• Work with databases and integrate third-party services.
• Enhance system performance, reliability and security.
• Test, debug and deploy software releases.
• Collaborate with team members to turn ideas into practical solutions.

Required profile

• Passion for software development and learning new technologies.
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Background in developing back-end applications, APIs and databases.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and clean code.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.
