Software Engineer – C#/.NET

About the role

Scientific Games is seeking a Software Engineer proficient in C# and .NET to join its development team. You will work on cutting‑edge lottery and gaming solutions, contributing to both backend services and front‑end interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned projects on schedule.
• Contribute to software design and development processes.
• Assist in developing technical strategies as needed.
• Write clear, well‑commented code and verify functionality.
• Review completed tasks focusing on quality, consistency and performance.
• Maintain solid understanding of platform hardware, libraries, tools and utilities.
• Support existing customer hardware and software systems.

Required profile

• Experience with C#.NET, ASP.NET, Web API, WCF, MVC and Kotlin.
• Proficiency in Entity Framework Core using SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with modern Angular frameworks and strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Ability to manage multiple high‑priority tasks simultaneously with high accuracy.
• Willingness to work after hours when required.
• Professional interaction skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Self‑directed, motivated and able to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
