Software Developer

About the role

Quartex is looking for a Software Developer to help improve the stability, scalability and user experience of its cloud‑based platform. You will work in a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment, partnering with product specialists, engineers and technical leaders to modernise the technology stack and deliver high‑quality software for asset‑intensive industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance platform components to increase stability, scalability and performance.
• Design, build and maintain cloud‑based applications, APIs and integrations on Azure or AWS.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and TechOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from solution design to deployment.
• Apply Agile practices and Test‑Driven Development to ensure reliable, maintainable code.

Required profile

• Passion for clean code, cloud technologies and continuous improvement.
• Ability to solve complex challenges and work alongside experienced engineers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a hybrid work environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Building and consuming APIs.
• Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Agile development methodologies.
