About the role

Join Accenture as a Software Asset Management Consultant to help organisations optimise software investments, maintain licensing compliance and improve governance. You will collaborate with technology, procurement, finance and vendor management stakeholders to deliver effective SAM strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support SAM initiatives, ensuring software assets are governed, tracked and optimised throughout their lifecycle.
• Analyse licensing positions, entitlement data and usage information to identify compliance risks, optimisation opportunities and cost‑saving recommendations.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement SAM processes, standards and governance frameworks.
• Support software audits, vendor reviews and compliance activities by providing accurate reporting, documentation and remediation planning.

Required profile

• Expert experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, Software Licensing or Technology Consulting.
• Hands‑on experience managing licensing, compliance, audits and optimisation across major software vendors.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Australian citizenship with an active security clearance.
