Social & Advocacy Brand Manager

About the role

Maybelline New York is seeking a Social & Advocacy Brand Manager to shape the brand’s presence across culture, social platforms, creators, events and earned conversation in Australia and New Zealand. The role sits at the heart of brand image and influence, driving advocacy, content strategies, creator partnerships and PR campaigns that build brand love and relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute paid advocacy campaigns to launch new products and keep best‑sellers top‑of‑mind.
• Develop creator‑first strategies, manage relationships with brand ambassadors, talent partners and creators, and oversee contracts and content collaboration.
• Identify emerging trends, creators and cultural moments, turning insights into first‑to‑market advocacy opportunities.
• Drive strategic seeding campaigns, both mass and bespoke, to generate buzz around key launches.
• Support the planning and execution of events that create conversation, content and earned media impact.
• Partner with the PR agency to maintain an always‑on earned media approach across campaigns, brand moments and cultural opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand management, social media and influencer marketing.
• Strong understanding of the media landscape and what drives conversation and relevance.
• Ability to manage multiple creator relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Experience planning and executing PR‑driven events and campaigns.
