Small Business Lending Specialist

About the role

The Small Business Lending Specialist works within the National Business Centre to support entrepreneurs and small‑business owners.

Key responsibilities

• Support smart entrepreneurs within ANZ’s Small Business network and build meaningful relationships.
• Conduct in‑depth conversations with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored advice.
• Identify core business requirements and recommend appropriate lending and cash‑flow solutions.
• Apply expertise in cash‑flow management and ANZ products to deliver suitable recommendations.

Required profile

• Professional phone manner and strong telephone etiquette.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑facing experience, either in person or over the phone.
• Understanding of small‑business and commercial banking markets (preferred).
• Knowledge of cash‑flow concepts and lending processes (preferred).
