Skin Cancer GP

About the role

Hobart Skin Cancer Clinic, established in 2004 and the first dedicated skin cancer clinic in Southern Tasmania, is seeking a GP with an interest in skin cancer medicine to join its practice in Bellerive, Hobart. The clinic provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of skin cancer and related skin conditions, and is located beside Eastern Shore Doctors Bellerive with support from the wider Better Medical network.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and prevent skin cancer and related skin conditions
• Focus on early detection, thorough assessment and high-quality patient care
• Work alongside an experienced clinical and nursing team

Required profile

• Prior experience or a strong interest in skin cancer medicine
• Experience or relevant qualifications in skin cancer medicine, dermoscopy, skin checks, biopsies and skin cancer management are encouraged
