Site Manager – New Building Solutions

About the role

KONE is seeking a Site Manager to join its New Building Solutions team in Brisbane. You will lead multiple construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards while fostering strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and tools across project sites.
• Monitor site progress, labour productivity and installation schedules to meet safety, timeline and quality targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, subcontractors and key stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with KONE’s safety standards and site requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop site teams to achieve high performance and exceptional customer outcomes.
• Oversee installation quality, conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Identify, manage and resolve site risks, issues and constraints to minimise impacts on delivery.
• Manage scope changes and site‑driven requirements, communicating impacts and documenting changes.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity and project outcomes.
• Lead site meetings and provide regular updates on progress, performance and key risks.

Required profile

• Experience managing project delivery at a site level (desired).
• Relevant trade or construction qualification (preferred).
• Leadership experience (desired).
• Lift industry experience (highly regarded).
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
• Excellent planning, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence; rigid vehicle licence advantageous.
