Site Manager - Curragh DNAP

About the role

Dyno Nobel Limited is looking for a Site Manager to lead its Curragh site, a major Queensland mine. Reporting to the General Manager - Coal Operations, you will lead a team of direct reports and a large operational workforce, working with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient results and continuous improvement. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates moving within Australia, and residential accommodation is offered in Blackwater or Emerald (Monday to Friday).

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and support to supervisors and operational personnel across leadership, operations, health and safety, security, compliance, asset management and cost performance.
• Ensure safe and efficient delivery of customer requirements while meeting business objectives.
• Lead site operations in line with HSE standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coach and develop operational teams to build a high-performance culture.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure delivery meets contractual obligations.
• Drive operational performance, profitability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, reliability and asset management teams to optimise site performance.
• Lead a team of 120+ direct and indirect reports across site operations.

Required profile

• Operational leadership experience with a strong focus on safety, compliance and people leadership.
• Blasting background with knowledge of drill and blast techniques and methodologies.
• Current QLD Shotfirer Licence, S123 and G2 qualifications and QLD Explosive Security Clearance.
• Tertiary qualification in Mining, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• Commitment to a safe, inclusive, high-performance culture; partial experience alignment is acceptable.
