Site Manager – Beanbri Operations

About the role

The Beanbri Site Manager will lead operations at Cargill's origination site, driving excellence across safety, quality, efficiency and financial performance. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this role ensures the site meets customer specifications while maintaining a zero‑harm safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Execute routine operations, ensuring compliance with employee, food, feed safety and environmental policies.
• Monitor production quantity and quality to meet customer and food‑safety specifications.
• Partner with production supervisors to achieve timelines and specifications.
• Administer the production budget, process purchase orders and ensure timely invoice payments.
• Develop and oversee operational plans for multiple departments, processes and shifts.
• Coach, develop and evaluate direct reports, reinforcing company core values and guiding principles.
• Make personnel decisions regarding hiring, performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Perform hands‑on tasks alongside the team as needed.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to engage at all business levels.
• High computer literacy with the ability to learn Cargill’s systems quickly.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Pass a National Police Clearance and pre‑employment medical assessment.
• Valid driver’s licence is mandatory.
