Site Manager – $20M School Project

About the role

An established commercial builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a $20 million school project in Tarneit. Working alongside a Project Manager and Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for daily site operations, subcontractor coordination, programming, safety, quality and successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all daily site activities from commencement through to handover
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
• Maintain and update the construction program
• Ensure works meet quality, safety and compliance requirements
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox meetings and inspections
• Identify and resolve construction and coordination issues
• Manage project completion, defects and handover

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a commercial builder
• Experience delivering education or comparable commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and subcontractor management
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Thorough understanding of Victorian building and safety requirements
• Current White Card and relevant site management qualifications
