Site HR Advisor (FIFO)

About the role

This position provides hands‑on HR support to a busy operational workforce on a FIFO site. The successful candidate will partner closely with site leadership to manage employee relations, compliance and performance initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day HR advice to site managers and employees across a wide range of matters.
• Handle employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution and investigations.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures and relevant employment legislation on site.
• Support performance review cycles, development planning and training programmes.
• Maintain accurate HR records, generate HR metrics reports and contribute to process‑improvement projects.
• Assist with onboarding, employee engagement activities and reward & recognition programmes.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Advisor in a site‑based, FIFO, mining, construction or similar operational setting.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Work, Australian employment legislation and general HR/IR practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage disciplinary processes and performance improvement plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with all workforce levels.
• Relevant HR qualification (Certificate, Diploma or Degree).
