About the role
Syneos Health is seeking a Site Activation Specialist II to support clinical trial start‑up activities in Australia. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site work in Sydney with remote responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit local regulatory, ethics committee and institutional approvals, and manage ongoing submissions, amendments and safety notifications.
- Track milestone progress against forecasted timelines, investigate delays, and support contingency planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Trial Master File and ensure compliance with SOPs and work instructions.
- Act as liaison between investigational sites and functional leads, overseeing end‑to‑end site activation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with detailed understanding of clinical trial processes (Phases II‑IV) and ICH GCP.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and project budgets.
- Experience with external vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
