Signals Intelligence Analyst 24x7

About the role

The National Solutions Division at Leidos is hiring a Signals Intelligence Analyst for its customer location in Alice Springs, Australia. The analyst works 12-hour rotating shifts covering days, nights, weekends and holidays, aligned with the operations shift schedule. This is a two-year assignment with potential for further assignments based on performance and behaviour.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse signals in digital domains to determine their structure, parameters, content and purpose
• Coordinate and collaborate with teammates, customers and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate signals processing
• Build mission-oriented situational awareness products in response to Intelligence Community requirements
• Use complex software to protect national assets in a multi-intelligence environment
• Disseminate data in the community standard format to customers within the timeframe defined by the customer
• Create processing models and scripts to report technical characteristics
• Search for new and unusual signal activity linked to events and forward it to the designated community entities
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master's with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience
• Active and current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship
• Proven experience and proficiency in one or more signals intelligence disciplines, with technical understanding of signal characteristics
• Knowledge or experience of satellite mission support in real-time or near-real-time operations
• Eligible dependents must also pass basic medical and remote psychological examinations and meet host nation visa requirements

Required skills

• Preferred: proficiency in multiple types of signals intelligence collection or technical work at customer sites
• Preferred: experience with specialized IC signals tasking, collection, exploitation, analysis and mapping tools
• Preferred: knowledge of mission-specific customer requirements and intelligence oversight policies
• Preferred: experience at a customer location in Australia
