Shift Production Engineer

About the role

Allied Pinnacle is seeking Shift Production Engineers to join its milling sites across Australia. You will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating mill performance and maintenance to meet company and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and maintain milling equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production and continuous‑improvement goals.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repair faults, install machinery and perform fabrication tasks.
• Manage grist quality and blend formulation for consistent output.
• Follow production plans, monitor throughput and forecast by‑product processes.
• Perform regular testing of wheat, maize and flour to meet quality standards.
• Complete all Critical Control Point (CCP) and quality checks with accurate documentation.
• Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and report safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Maintain production logs, quality reports and work closely with quality control, maintenance and operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering (or equivalent).
• Team‑oriented mindset with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to a safe and productive work environment.
