Shift Manager – McDonald's Charlton

About the role

McDonald's Australia is hiring energetic Shift Managers for casual, part-time and full-time positions at its new Charlton restaurant in Wilsonton, Queensland. The role involves overseeing shifts and running a designated area in a 24-hour business, with flexible scheduling to match your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding Quality, Service and Cleanliness, sales, people practices and profit on each shift
• Supervise employees so they follow restaurant operations and procedures
• Comply with safety and security standards and maintain food safety to the highest standard
• Monitor guest counts and sales projections against shift targets and restaurant goals
• Seek customer feedback and work with the team to give customers a great experience

Required profile

• Well presented, friendly and organised, able to lead a team and handle difficult situations with customers, suppliers or contractors
• Adaptable to a fast pace, accurate, resilient and able to lift and move items
• Able to hear and respond to alerts and alarms
• Valid right to work in Australia; police check required if successful (applicants over 18 only)
• Preferred: management experience in hospitality or retail, First Aid Level 2 and Fire Safety training
