Services Manager for Large‑Scale Building Projects

About the role

BESIX Watpac is seeking an experienced Services Manager to lead the design, coordination, installation and commissioning of building services on a large‑scale project in Victoria. The role focuses on ensuring safety, quality and compliance across mechanical, electrical, security, ICT and hydraulic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safety policies and procedures in line with OH&S legislation.
• Manage design documentation packages for mechanical, electrical, security, ICT and hydraulic services.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to align documentation with specifications, budgets and programme.
• Oversee coordination, review and adequacy of design inputs.
• Participate in subcontractor selection and monitor installation, testing and commissioning.
• Support final handover of the project.

Required profile

• Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical or hydraulic services).
• Proven experience on large‑scale projects managing complex building services packages.
• Strong knowledge of OHS Act, Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
