Service Desk Coordinator

About the role

CDC Data Centres is seeking a Service Desk Coordinator to join its Data Centre Operations team. In this central coordination role you will manage incidents, service requests and change activities, ensuring clear and timely communication across internal teams, site staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues, service requests and customer queries.
• Log, validate, triage and coordinate incidents in line with defined processes and SLAs.
• Manage incident communications, providing stakeholders with accurate and timely updates.
• Support change coordination, tracking approved works and communicating timeframes to customers.
• Monitor alerts, escalating issues to technicians and on‑call support as needed.
• Coordinate follow‑up actions related to incidents, reports and service events.
• Assist with problem management by identifying recurring trends and supporting corrective actions.
• Complete shift handovers and maintain accurate records for continuity.
• Contribute to process documentation, reporting and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
