Service Desk Analyst – ICT Support

About the role

The Ngaanyatjarra Council is seeking a customer‑focused Service Desk Analyst to be the first point of contact for ICT support across Perth, Alice Springs and remote Indigenous communities. You will provide timely, level‑1 technical assistance, helping staff stay productive while contributing to a reliable ICT service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level‑1 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, networks and business applications.
• Receive and resolve support requests via phone, email and service‑desk tools, logging and tracking incidents.
• Configure, install and maintain hardware such as computers, phones and peripherals.
• Support Windows, macOS and mobile platforms, including remote‑access environments (e.g., Citrix).
• Liaise with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain ICT asset registers and produce accurate documentation.
• Assist with user account creation, onboarding and related support activities.
• Travel occasionally to remote communities as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Service Desk or Level‑1 ICT support role.
• Strong customer service orientation and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Valid WA driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Windows operating system support.
• macOS operating system support.
• Citrix or other remote‑access tools.
• Hardware installation and troubleshooting (computers, phones, peripherals).
• Mobile device management.
• Network troubleshooting basics.
