Service Administration Traineeship (12‑month)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Service Administrator to join our Brisbane team on a 12‑month fixed‑term traineeship, with the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Business. The role provides essential administrative support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Service Manager and Supervisors.
• Assist with timesheet entry, travel bookings, and workflow coordination.
• Process purchase orders, receive supplier invoices, and support cost tracking.
• Participate in the reception roster, manage calls and greet visitors professionally.
• Manage uniforms, office supplies and consumables to keep the office running smoothly.
• Maintain contractor records and support onboarding and inductions.
• Handle document control, filing, mail distribution and provide general admin support.

Required profile

• A genuine interest in building a career in business administration.
• Some previous experience in an administration or office support role (beneficial but not essential).
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a professional phone manner.
• High attention to detail, solid organisational abilities and a reliable, punctual approach.
• Willingness to learn, take direction and collaborate with a supportive team.
