Senior Web Developer – Shopify & Front‑End Lead

About the role

Quad Lock is seeking a Senior Web Developer to own and evolve its global e‑commerce and B2B web properties. You will lead technical direction, mentor the development team, and work closely with marketing and product teams to deliver fast, reliable, and engaging digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technical architecture for the Shopify ecosystem, including theme structure, app integrations and platform scalability.
• Document architectural decisions, balance delivery speed with long‑term maintainability, and manage technical debt.
• Guide development of new features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Liquid, ensuring code quality, testing standards and review processes.
• Optimize site performance, accessibility and SEO, and keep the Shopify platform highly available.
• Lead integration of new apps and services across Shopify, Sanity CMS and related systems.
• Partner with analytics teams to build tracking, AB‑testing infrastructure and translate behavioural insights into development work.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading front‑end development for high‑traffic e‑commerce sites, preferably on Shopify.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to mentor junior developers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
