Senior Technology Internal Auditor – Financial Services

About the role

Senior Technology Internal Auditor – a high‑impact position ensuring the security and reliability of critical technology, cybersecurity, and data environments within a leading financial services organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver independent, objective assurance across business and technology domains.
• Execute technology‑focused internal audits, including IT General Controls, application controls, cybersecurity and data integrity assessments.
• Evaluate control environments, identify root causes and recommend pragmatic, risk‑based solutions.
• Prepare insightful audit reports and collaborate with technology leaders and co‑sourced partners.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, with certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CA or CPA.
• Proven track record auditing technology infrastructure, cyber security, data and transformation projects.
• Strong background in evaluating ITGCs, application controls and risk frameworks, preferably in financial services.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
