Senior Technical Account Manager – Remote (APAC)

About the role

The Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) partners with Semgrep’s most important customers across APAC, driving implementation and ongoing adoption of the platform. You will create personalized growth plans, de‑escalate urgent situations, represent the customer voice for product improvements, and deliver executive business reviews to both practitioners and executive audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Host monthly check‑ins with customers to understand successes and challenges.
• Create personalized success plans and drive adoption of the Semgrep platform.
• Partner with Sales to deliver executive business reviews for practitioners and executive buyers.
• Collaborate with Tech Support to resolve bug tickets and with Product to submit and follow up on feature requests.
• Advocate for customers on the product roadmap and de‑escalate urgent issues that could lead to churn.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a customer‑facing role such as Technical Account Manager, Account Manager or Product Manager for a technical product.
• Deep understanding of developer workflows, CI/CD and source‑control environments.
• Strategic thinker with strong customer empathy and executive‑level communication skills.
• Familiarity with Web Application Security concepts, especially the OWASP Top 10.
• Interest or background in DevSecOps or Application Security.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Circle CI, Jenkins, Buildkite.
• Source‑control systems: Git, SVN, Perforce.
• Web Application Security concepts (OWASP Top 10).
• DevSecOps and Application Security knowledge.
