About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to join a modern, high‑performing advisory firm in Melbourne CBD. This client‑facing position moves beyond routine compliance, allowing you to become a trusted voice for a diverse portfolio of SMEs, high‑net‑worth individuals and complex structures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME, high‑net‑worth and complex‑structure clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns.
• Provide clear, well‑articulated tax and business advisory advice.
• Build strong, long‑term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Support and review the work of junior team members.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified or near completion.
• Proven experience in public‑practice accounting.
• Strong technical capability across tax and business advisory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working directly with clients and influencing outcomes.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
