Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

About the role

Snowy Hydro is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to lead end‑to‑end recruitment for technical and niche roles, supporting large‑scale energy projects across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Drive full‑lifecycle recruitment across business units, from strategy intake to onboarding.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide market insights, set selection criteria, and guide assessment methodologies.
• Deliver a high‑touch candidate experience with prompt feedback and transparent communication.
• Use multi‑channel sourcing to build diverse talent pools for hard‑to‑fill roles.
• Promote Snowy Hydro’s Employee Value Proposition and embed diversity principles throughout hiring.
• Participate in strategic projects to optimise recruitment workflows and adopt new technologies.

Required profile

• Proven success in talent acquisition (agency or in‑house), especially recruiting technical trades, engineering or niche skill sets.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, behavioral and technical interviewing, and candidate assessment tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with stakeholders.
• Passion for delivering an empathetic, seamless candidate experience.
• Proactive approach to refining workflows, adopting recruitment technologies, and supporting diversity initiatives.
