Senior Structural Engineer – Transmission

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to design and deliver transmission line structures that support clean‑energy integration and enhance network resilience across Australia. You will work on high‑profile infrastructure projects, applying best‑in‑class engineering practices to create sustainable, future‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop system designs for transmission structures independently, ensuring compliance with project specifications and RAM principles.
• Refine design components using modelling and simulation tools to optimise performance and validate compliance.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align structural solutions with overall system requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in structural engineering, preferably within transmission or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering sustainable, high‑quality designs.
• Ability to work autonomously while adhering to safety, technical accuracy, and regulatory standards.
