Senior Speech Pathologist (Clinical Supervisor)

About the role

Ignite Healthcare is a clinician-led, community-based allied health provider working across Melbourne, offering care in homes, schools, communities and hubs. Because of its growth, it is looking for multiple Speech Pathology Clinical Supervisors across its sites in Melbourne's East, West and North. As a supervisor you support quality and continuous care and build the confidence and skills of new graduates, early-career clinicians and those new to community practice.

Key responsibilities

• Support Speech Pathology students on clinical placement with Ignite Healthcare
• Provide clinical supervision to new graduate clinicians, early career clinicians and clinicians new to community practice in speech pathology
• Achieve individual key performance indicators

Required profile

• Proven experience of at least 3 years in the role
• Tertiary education in Speech Pathology
• Registered with the Speech Pathology Association (SPA)
• Clinical experience in the disability sector (NDIS, My Aged Care Home Care Package)
• Preferred: experience in an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary allied health environment
• Excellent written, verbal and computer literacy
• Current driver's licence
