Senior Solution Architect

About the role

Profectus is looking for experienced Senior Solution Architects to design and deliver enterprise key management and secrets management capabilities for an Australian Government agency. You will lead security architecture design, integration and accreditation support across on‑premises, cloud and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end solution architectures for cryptographic key lifecycle, secret storage, certificate management and privileged access integration.
• Produce and maintain solution designs, security models, integration patterns, data flows and technical roadmaps.
• Conduct architecture assessments, technology evaluations and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts, pilot deployments and migration strategies from legacy systems.
• Design audit, logging and monitoring capabilities and apply zero‑trust and defence‑in‑depth principles.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years leading solution architecture for complex enterprise security, infrastructure or cloud programmes.
• Experience designing and integrating enterprise key management, secrets management, IAM, PKI or cryptographic solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture methods, security models and large‑scale ICT integration.
• Experience with PSPF and ISM compliance, influencing senior executives and governance boards.
• Tertiary qualification in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
