Senior Software Engineer (Product Focused, Full Stack)

About the role

Cadmus is looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to own product architecture and drive the team’s velocity. You will work directly with customers, shape the roadmap, and build scalable systems that serve millions of students and teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of product domains and architectural standards.
• Gather customer feedback, identify real problems, and define what to build next.
• Design and implement high‑performance, scalable solutions using Elixir and React.
• Balance new feature development with code quality and technical debt reduction.
• Ensure the user experience is intuitive for both students and educators.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience building and scaling software products.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript for front‑end development.
• Strong understanding of complex back‑end systems; experience with Elixir is a plus.
• Self‑starter who can turn vague ideas into clear technical plans.
• Ability to lead workstreams, influence product roadmap, and mentor junior engineers.
