Senior Software Engineer – Integrations

About the role

Autodesk is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop integration plugins and pre‑built integrations for Tandem Connect, enabling seamless data exchange across built‑environment systems and supporting Digital Twin workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust integration plugins that connect external systems via APIs (REST, GraphQL) and messaging protocols (MQTT).
• Collaborate with product, customer adoption specialists, and stakeholders to translate integration requirements into reusable, high‑performance solutions.
• Drive architecture decisions, create reusable components, and ensure secure, scalable code across cloud and edge environments.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for building, testing, and publishing integration plugins.
• Provide troubleshooting, enhancements, and documentation for production integrations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (Node.js) and scripting languages such as Groovy.
• Proven experience designing and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL) and messaging protocols like MQTT.
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle, test‑driven development, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
