Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Blinq is building an AI‑powered contacts app used by millions worldwide. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer you will design, build and operate the highly reliable infrastructure that supports global growth, partnering with platform, backend and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate scalable, fault‑tolerant infrastructure for a global user base.
• Define and own SLOs, SLAs and error budgets, collaborating with engineering teams to improve reliability.
• Advance observability, incident response and on‑call practices to minimise downtime.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows and developer experience.
• Automate manual operational work and create AI‑powered tooling to boost productivity.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives across platform, infrastructure and product engineering.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in Site Reliability, Platform, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong ownership, excellent judgment and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring engineers.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
• Experience with monitoring, observability, logging and incident management.
• Strong background in building CI/CD pipelines and containerised workloads.
• Fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to automate workflows.
