Senior Security Engineer - DevSecOps

About the role

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer you will operate at the intersection of software development and security, helping platform engineering and application security teams to standardise and automate the build, deployment and operation of cloud applications.

Key responsibilities

• Embed security automation into infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to secure build and run phases.
• Standardise security practice through Infrastructure‑as‑Code and AWS service orchestration.
• Automate vulnerability operations and secure dependency management.
• Build observability and monitoring capabilities on agentic systems using OpenTelemetry.
• Contribute to incident response efforts.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in software/platform engineering and security engineering.
• Hands‑on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD gates across build, release and run phases.
• Ability to influence technical teams and promote secure patterns.

Required skills

• AWS
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• OpenTelemetry for observability
