Senior Security Consultant

About the role

CyberCX is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to deliver cloud security services to customers across Australia. You will work with a collaborative team to ensure engagements meet CyberCX standards and industry frameworks, while developing your own cloud security expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver standard and complex cloud security engagements, including planning, stakeholder management, governance and risk management.
• Prepare and present findings and recommendations to customers with confidence and clarity.
• Support internal research, capability uplift, innovation and process improvement initiatives.
• Help grow customer relationships through direct support and collaboration with sales, solutions and marketing teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in information or cyber security projects.
• Direct experience with cloud technologies and a solid understanding of cloud security principles.
• Working towards or holding a major security certification (CISM, CISA, CISSP, ISO LA/LI) and preferably cloud security or vendor certifications.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Full working rights in Australia and ability to obtain an Australian Security Clearance.
