Senior Recruitment Consultant (Construction / Energy / Infrastructure / Mining)

About the role

ClearHire, a recruitment agency based in Sydney, is hiring an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant (New Business) for its growing remote team. This is a full-time, 360 recruitment role covering the entire recruitment lifecycle: winning new business, developing client relationships, sourcing, interviewing and placing candidates in your specialist market. The role is fully remote and can be done from anywhere globally, provided you are available during Australian business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full recruitment process, from business development and client relationship building to sourcing, interviewing and placing candidates.
• Build your market through business development, talent mapping and headhunting.
• Work closely with clients to deliver high-quality recruitment solutions.
• Over time, the opportunity exists to build and lead your own team, with additional earning tied to team performance.

Required profile

• Previous agency recruitment or sales experience.
• Strong business development and client management skills.
• Experience sourcing and headhunting candidates.
• Commercially driven, relationship-focused and motivated to build something long term.

Required skills

• Confident communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self-driven with strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
