Senior React Developer

About the role

Join the Cover-More Travel Insurance team in North Sydney as a Senior React Developer. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable web applications that support millions of travellers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front‑end features using React.js and its ecosystem.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code following industry standards.
• Integrate UI components with backend services and ensure end‑to‑end functionality.
• Develop verification plans, conduct testing, and support releases in controlled environments.

Required profile

• 8+ years of front‑end development experience, preferably in large‑scale web applications.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field with a strong programming focus.
• Proven ability to own complex technical challenges and make sound architectural decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem.
• Strong experience with Tailwind CSS and modern styling techniques.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with MVC, MVVM, and component‑based architecture patterns.
• Experience defining and implementing robust testing strategies.
