Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to help design and deliver a modern banking platform that offers simple, secure, and trustworthy experiences for customers. You will work within a cross‑functional squad to ensure high‑quality software is released quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and analysts to identify risks early and fix bugs promptly.
• Drive test‑driven development practices and coach engineers on quality best practices.
• Design and optimise test approaches covering functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance UI automation scripts and frameworks.
• Create and manage test cases, test data, execution, and defect logging.
• Assess regression coverage and implement automation strategies to maximise efficiency.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in testing and QA automation framework design and implementation.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience building and maintaining UI automation tools.
• Strong expertise in at least one programming language.
• Proven ability to work in an agile, squad‑based environment.
