Senior Public Relations Consultant

About the role

Eleven and FleishmanHillard ANZ are looking for a Senior Public Relations Consultant to join their dynamic team. You will work across the Australian media landscape, helping clients shape and execute culturally resonant PR campaigns that drive business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement basic publicity strategies, manage media relations, and distribute press packs to meet campaign KPIs.
• Maintain journalist relationships, conduct media research, and pitch stories to secure coverage.
• Manage influencer programmes, including talent outreach, cost negotiation and budget tracking.
• Analyse post‑campaign results using PR tools such as Meltwater and iSentia, and produce performance reports.
• Support client service by understanding client business, updating work‑in‑progress notes, and contributing to client meetings and presentations.
• Coach junior staff and interns, fostering strong team collaboration.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent with at least 1 + year agency or discipline‑related experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to craft pitches, briefs, case studies and web copy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, work flexibly and maintain high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with PR and media monitoring tools such as Klear, Telum, SourceBottle, Meltwater and iSentia.
• Knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
