Senior Product Manager

About the role

The Senior Product Manager will lead the discovery of new high‑growth opportunities for CAR Group’s NEXT team, shaping products that create value for buyers, sellers and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify unsolved, high‑potential problems across marketplaces and lead discovery of new business bets.
• Design and run experiments, tests and pilots with real users to validate ideas quickly.
• Interpret user and market data to generate actionable insights and define product bets.
• Leverage AI to accelerate prototyping, testing and AI‑native product experiences.
• Balance buyer experience with seller value, improving both sides of the marketplace.
• Build win‑win partnerships with third‑party vendors and partners to execute at pace.
• Craft compelling product vision and strategy and present to senior stakeholders for funding.

Required profile

• Hands‑on product leader who has taken an idea from concept to launch, preferably in a startup or internal zero‑to‑one team.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity, solving hard problems and using data to test instincts.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communicator who can articulate vision and persuade others.

Required skills

• Experience building AI/ML‑powered products or using AI to accelerate discovery and decision‑making.
• Strong product toolkit with ability to select and apply appropriate frameworks, processes and tools.
