Senior Product Designer

About the role

As a Senior Product Designer at carsales you will research, design, build and refine user‑centric experiences and interfaces that millions of customers use every day. The role operates in a hybrid environment, blending remote flexibility with in‑person collaboration to drive innovative vehicle marketplace solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Present design concepts to partners and teams across the business, sharing expertise and gathering feedback.
• Develop and support seamless product experiences using user‑centred design methods and best practices.
• Collaborate with product development, technical leads and developers to set project scope, delivery timelines and maintain quality standards.
• Work with cross‑functional teams and product strategists to recommend optimal design outcomes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes aligned with carsales behaviours: customer‑obsessed, curious and connected.
• Proven ability to define and lead the development of new concepts that improve the buyer/seller journey.
• Strong understanding of user problems and product pain points, translating them into intuitive interfaces that meet business requirements.
• Experience collaborating across diverse teams to transform complex tasks into accessible, easy‑to‑use designs.
