Senior Planner – Rail Infrastructure

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of one of Victoria’s most significant rail programmes. You will maintain the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of the project schedule, focusing on the freight works package within the Sunshine realignment. This role offers the chance to influence a complex, multidisciplinary rail project and work alongside seasoned planning and construction professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule for freight works.
• Apply critical path analysis to identify risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate with design, construction and systems teams on interfaces.
• Track progress against baseline schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare EVM reporting and schedule variance forecasts.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Extensive experience in planning or scheduling on major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to achieve a successful Pre‑Employment Medical and National Crime Check.

Required skills

• Expert user of Primavera P6.
• Working knowledge of MS Project.
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis.
• Proficiency in earned value management (EVM).
